While that wasn’t entirely true at the time that Joss was recruited, it may be how she genuinely feels now. Joss wasn’t the same person when Jack thought he spotted the skills of an agent under the surface of her very raw pain after Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) died.
But now the WSB life has hardened her in just one short year. She’s come to think of her family as the enemy she must obscure her life from. Is there any coming back from this?
Carly Could Lose Her Daughter
The fans are rife with speculation about what is going to happen between Carly and Joss. The relationship they once had is so watered down now, and for a while there, it seemed like they both knew and felt the pain of that.
But now it looks more like Carly is grieving that loss while Joss has accepted it and moved on. She didn’t see a way out of her situation, so she acclimated and embraced it, and now she’s come to like the power she feels like she has — even if it’s giving her a false sense of security.
Joss is definitely in over her head messing with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and going rogue against Jack’s orders. But that doesn’t mean death is imminent; rather, Carly could lose her daughter to the WSB, or even to her mental collapse.
GH Spoilers Report Joss is Headed for a Breakdown
Some fans think Joss is spiraling out of control. She can’t seem to find the magic bullet that helps her take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and she was so certain that she would be more gifted at it than all the many who’ve come before her, tried, and failed.
While Joss’ life might be spared, the way it looks is probably never going to be the same. It doesn’t appear she’ll be able to go back to being that normal girl roaming the campus and building a future career in science.
But if the WSB career track costs her her family, and yet she still can’t capture the man she thinks ruined it all, will it ruin her? I could totally see Joss ending up locked in a facility similar to that which Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is spending time in.
The trauma of Dex’s death combined with her mother’s behavior, Jack taking her life off track, and not being able to do the one thing she set out to do as an agent could do her in.
Eden McCoy is Out!
Don’t forget those pesky rumors floating around that Eden McCoy is moving on. This leak hasn’t stopped dripping details, claiming that McCoy is taking a break.
But this isn’t the kind of break Steve Burton (portrayer of Jason Morgan) is taking where he’s announcing in advance that he’ll be back in twelve weeks. Rumor has it McCoy needs time off for a family matter and has chosen not to renew her contract.
Still, that doesn’t mean she’s going to die, but reassignment or a new post in a mental institution are options. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
