General Hospital Spoilers: Gio’s Paternity Mix-Up, Mistakes Jason For Bio Dad?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Port Charles newcomer Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has already begun to mix it up with Port Charles residents.
He’s working with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at the Metro Court pool, and he’s also already met Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as well. But it was Gio’s reaction to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that seemed both interesting and strange.
General Hospital Spoilers – Gio Palmieri thinks Jason Morgan is familiar
Gio admitted to Josslyn that even though he met Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at Brook Lynn Chase’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), that seemed familiar from somewhere else.
Josslyn told Gio that he may have seen Jason’s picture at the Quartermaine mansion, since he is a Quartermaine by blood.
But that may not be why Jason seems so familiar to Gio. Perhaps Gio has seen an old picture of his biological father, a man who looks strikingly like Jason.
GH Spoilers – Gio Palmieri never met his father!
Gio told Dex that his father served in Afghanistan but had died before Gio was even born. Of course, Jason never served in Afghanistan but his identical twin did.
As viewers know, Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) is Jason’s twin brother. Drew had an accident a few years ago which required extensive plastic surgery that altered Drew’s appearance.
While once he looked exactly like Jason, Drew now looks completely different. That means Gio might mistake the wrong twin as his biological father. Perhaps Gio will soon locate another photo, this time of the man he was told is his dad.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan is not the father!
Gio might mistake Jason for his father. After all, Drew no longer looks like the man in Gio has been told is his father. That could lead to all sorts of confusion.
Gio would certainly question why Jason pretended to be dead and avoid claiming Gio as his son. Drew did go missing in Afghanistan and was presumed dead for awhile so if he is indeed Gio’s father, chances are he had no idea all this time.
Either way. Look for Gio’s paternity to bring a lot of confusion before the truth is revealed.
