General Hospital spoilers boast Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is nearly in the clear. He has spent almost three years as an informant for the FBI, mostly against his will.
Holding it down and agreeing to Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) terms if it meant keeping Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) out of prison, Jason is ready to set himself and Carly free.
But will it really be that easy? With Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the cusp of taking down Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as the head of Pikeman, Jason was ready to report back to Jagger and call it quits on working for the FBI — finally freeing himself to go live the life he longs to get back to.
While Anna’s plan to entrap Valentin will delay that plan for a bit, we have to wonder what it’s going to look like when he gets the chance to seize the day.
General Hospital Spoilers — Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder
Jason has been keeping a safe distance from the people he cares about the most ever since he got back to Port Charles. He hasn’t seen his mother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) — though to be fair, neither have we.
He showed up to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in Monica’s place, but he still wasn’t overly chatty with any of the people from his past, some of them who cared deeply for him. Once he’s free from the ties that bind him to Jagger, that could change, and we expect it to.
Jake Spencer (Hudson West) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) are desperately in need of their father’s attention. Jake has been dancing with trouble ever since he cozied up to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), while simultaneously trying to keep Danny out of it.
Will their dear old dad step in to save the day and offer some balance and structure to their lives? Will their mothers allow it?
General Hospital Spoilers — It Was Always About Carly
Unbeknownst to anyone else but Jagger and Anna, Jason is working tirelessly for the FBI and giving up his own freedom to preserve Carly’s. So it makes perfect sense that when he breaks free of these chains, that’s where his heart will gravitate to.
His best friend, the woman he thought he married. Will Jason and Carly finally be ready to settle down and give this a shot, or will Jason’s freedom signal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he’s on his side again — opening up a new can of worms in which Sonny wouldn’t be okay with Carly and Jason being together?
Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to learn which direction Jason’s life is bound to take.
