Finn’s Grandfather Passed Away On May 12, 2026 At The Age Of 77
Finn Carr, the young star of General Hospital known for his role as Rocco Falconeri, is experiencing profound sorrow following the loss of his grandfather, obviously extremely beloved by his family.
He took to Instagram to announce the tragic news of his grandfather, Frank Paul Carr Jr., who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 77. In a heartfelt tribute accompanied by a photo of his grandfather, Finn expressed his deep admiration for the man he cherished.
“This is my grandpa, Frank Paul Carr Jr. He was the greatest man I’ve ever known,” Finn shared. “He loved his family above everything else and gave so generously, never expecting anything in return-his love was big and completely unconditional”.
Finn Continued His Tribute To His Beloved Grandpa, Remembering His Cherished Interests
Finn took a moment to ponder the numerous traits that made his grandfather truly remarkable to him and their entire family. “He was reliable, soothing, logical, and exceptionally intelligent,” Finn expressed, “He had countless stories to share and was the most hilarious person I’ve ever met.”
Finn also fondly recalled some of his grandfather’s cherished interests, such as the San Francisco 49ers, World Class Chocolate ice cream, baking, golf, collecting coins and watches, and his dear puppy, Daisy. “There will never be a day when I don’t think of him and miss him profoundly,” Finn added.
Finn Said His Grandpa Was The Heart Of His Family, And The Glue That Held It Together
The young actor affectionately called his grandfather the heart of the family. “He was the glue that held us all together-the very first person everyone turned to when they were in need of help, guidance, or comfort. If you reached out to him, he would respond without a moment’s hesitation.”
Finn wrapped up his heartfelt tribute with a genuine promise to honor his grandfather’s legacy; “Rest easy, Grandpa. You did an amazing job, and your love will stay with us forever. I vow to make you proud every single day for the rest of my life.” Frank Paul Carr Jr. was born on December 11, 1948, and he departed from us on May 12, 2026.
