General Hospital spoilers tease that someone is framing Ava Jerome (Maura West) for the murder of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
At first Ava believed that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was behind Austin’s murder, but she quickly settled on another suspect. Now Ava believes that her ex-husband, Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) is responsible.
However, the true killer may be someone that Ava never saw coming, even though the culprit may still be someone she already knows.
General Hospital Spoilers – Betty Rutherford May Have A Secret Motive To Frame Ava Jerome!
As viewers know, Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) was hired by Ava to be a nanny to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Avery is Ava’s daughter with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
But Betty was secretly working with Cyrus to help take down Sonny and blackmail Ava. But why would Betty put herself at risk in the first place? The answer may tie back to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
GH Spoilers – Does Esme Prince Have A Twin?
Last year, viewers witnessed a cryptic conversation between Heather and Ryan. Heather and Ryan basically hinted that they have another child out there and that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has a twin!
Betty may have been eager to get revenge on Ava for Ryan’s death and for what has happened to Esme. Esme isn’t dead, but she has no memory of the bond she shared with her serial killer father Ryan.
Perhaps Betty blames Ava for Ryan’s death and Esme’s memory loss. If that’s the case, she easily could have killed Austin with the intent of framing Ava.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Won’t See Betty Rutherford Coming!
While it’s true Ava doesn’t have a lot of friends in Port Charles, no one besides Nikolas really comes to mind as someone who hates Ava enough to go to such lengths.
But if Betty has a personal reason to hate Ava, then she will be a threat that Ava has no idea is even out there and she could get away with her plan if Ava doesn’t learn the truth soon. Ava might even find herself behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit!

does everyone on GH have to have a twin? Come on writers come up with something different for a change. I am 65 yrs old and watched my whole life,but this is getting ridiculous.
