General Hospital Spoilers: Eddie Didn’t Remember His Fall, But He May Have Remembered Nina

General Hospital spoilers spill Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) was patient and compliant with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) when she requested that he do a walk-through of the Metro Court pool with her.

Olivia had hoped that familiarizing himself with the events of that fateful day when he slipped and hit his head would somehow help him to remember something — anything — about who he really was and what happened to him. Eddie indulged her but made it clear he remembered nothing about the pool, what he was doing, his fall, or anyone who witnessed it.

What he didn’t make mention of was Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who struck him in a way he wasn’t familiar with and left him wondering why. Could it be that Eddie had a flicker of a memory he can’t make sense of, and he hasn’t told Olivia for fear of getting her hopes up over nothing?

General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia Keeps Pushing

Olivia has been very understanding of Eddie’s position that he is not Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). She believes it. She looks into his eyes and listens to him speaking and she knows this man is not her husband. Still, she has faith that all is not lost and that Ned could come back to her — someday. It was a practical move having Eddie go back to the place where this all began. What she couldn’t have predicted was that Nina’s intrusion upon them would be the most eventful part of it all for Eddie.

GH Spoilers Report Eddie Held Back

Eddie already knows Nina. She was kind to him when he first left the hospital and decided to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) up on his offer to stay at his penthouse. Sonny blessed Eddie again with his connections to the music industry that have given him a leg up on reigniting his career, as well as a reason to stay in Port Charles.

But when Nina interrupted the awkwardly married pair and suggested this experiment may be a bad idea, Olivia was busy correcting Nina on her presumption while Eddie studied her in a way we haven’t seen him do before. Again, he already knows Nina. He liked her; she was good to him when he trusted no one else. So might he be conflicted about why he suddenly felt, in that moment, that she shouldn’t be trusted?

General Hospital Spoilers — Will More Memories Resurface?

Fans are perplexed by Eddie’s blossoming friendship with Olivia as Nina lurks in the background. She seemed to be the one person who was most on Eddie’s side until he jumped ship and moved into the Quartermaine mansion. He had thought he found an ally in Nina, but his instincts are firing off in a different direction since seeing her at the Metro Court.

When he was recording his new song this week and singing about the siren lost in the back of his mind, he froze for a moment as though a new thought occurred to him that hadn’t before.

Many fans assumed he was possibly thinking about a past love — or even Olivia, but is his explosive argument with Nina just before his poolside spill lurking in the back of his mind just waiting to pop out at him? Will he be able to make any sense of his scattered thoughts without clueing Olivia in? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how this storyline develops.
