General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Testimony Unfolds – Is the Shooter’s Identity Finally Revealed?
General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of December 15-19 suggest that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will testify in Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial and he may name his shooter in court.
In the weekly General Hospital promo, there’s a scene of Drew on the stand as ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) asks, “Congressman Cain, do you know who shot you?”
Drew Looks Confident, Willow And Alexis Look Shocked!
Drew appears self-assured as he prepares to speak, followed by a clip of Willow and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) looking shocked. There’s a lot to delve into, so let’s rewind to some events that occurred during the week of December 8-12. Drew and Willow met at Alexis’ home to discuss the trial.
It was during this meeting that Drew recounted the night he was shot, recalling an event that took place. Technically, he didn’t remember anything of significance, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something important he had forgotten.
Will Drew Remember Who Shot Him During The Court Hearing?
This sparked a flurry of speculation and excitement among GH fans-will Drew finally remember who shot him? The expression on Drew’s face in the preview- that confident grin- suggests he’s on the verge of revealing something huge, so what will he disclose?
Will he finally name his assailant? There’s a strong possibility that Drew might recall something in the coming days, or perhaps a memory will be triggered just before his testimony.
This, of course would leave him unable to inform either Willow or Alexis in advance.
Drew Might Have Seen Kai And Trina In His House Although They Don’t Think He Did
Drew could have a brief update conversation with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) before entering the courtroom, which triggers Drew’s memory.
Kai and Trina don’t think he saw them, but could he have a memory of his assistant and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) being present after he was shot? He would be eager to pin Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) down with that courtroom revelation!
However, Drew’s main focus has consistently been Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). And General Hospital fans can’t ignore that Michael has not been truthful regarding his location on the night of Drew’s shooting, but nonetheless, Michael is the one Drew wants to go down for his shooting!
Michael Most Likely Didn’t Shoot Drew, Although He May Have Been Tempted-Like Half Of Port Charles!
It seems improbable that Michael was the one who shot Drew; however, he might have been present in the house or could know who the actual shooter is and is protecting them.
There has been some conjecture that Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) is the one who shot her father, and Michael’s mysterious behavior might be tied to shielding the young girl.
Last week, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pointed out that Michael’s cell phone records showed he was near Drew’s residence at the time of the shooting, but that alone isn’t sufficient evidence to bring him in.
Drew has firmly stated that Willow didn’t shoot him, but what if he recalls something this week that suggests otherwise? Would he still defend his “wife” if he discovered she was the one who shot him, or would he distance himself and betray her?
Drew Remembering Willow Shooting Him Would Be A Shocker
Taking the stand and disclosing that Willow was the shooter would certainly be a shocking revelation. On the other hand, it’s also possible that Drew remembers someone completely different; anything can happen in the world of soap operas! General Hospital spoilers indicate that the “Who Shot Drew Cain” plotline is nearing its conclusion, and the identity of the mystery shooter should be unveiled very soon.
