Revenge Buddies To Bed Buddies?
From the moment Ava started chatting with Drew at the Metro Court, fans sensed a partnership brewing, and it came to fruition. Ava confided in Drew about the challenges of co-parenting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), expressing her fears that he might turn Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) against her.
Drew shared his own worries about Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) during his time in prison, concerned that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was filling her head with negativity about him.
Notably, Ava seemed genuinely pleased to see Drew fully recovered and back on his feet. Their connection deepened as Ava expressed excitement about Drew’s ambitious plans to confront Sonny-and remember, stranger things have happened; Avery was conceived in a crypt!
Drew Had One Obstacle That Needed Removing
Drew had one hurdle to clear before confronting Sonny, and that was Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna). To keep Jack unconscious while Drew searched his room, Drew provided Ava with what he referred to as a sleeping pill, which she crushed and mixed into Jack’s drink.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) urged Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) to erase the recording of Jack, fearing it could endanger Willow-however, her daughter refused to heed her warning.
In an attempt to protect Willow, Nina confronted Jack, but he was irritated with her for defending Willow. Jack cautioned Nina, saying, “Take a step back from Willow.”
Nina Became Furious With Jack
Naturally, Nina became furious with Jack, unable to accept the harsh reality about her daughter, Willow. She insisted that Jack provide Willow with what she needs: evidence against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Nina threatened Jack, stating that if he failed to comply, he would be the one facing destruction.
Drew overheard this ominous warning, leading him to consider that if Jack discovers he has been drugged and his room has been searched, he might suspect either Willow or Nina.
Drew might believe he can operate unnoticed and successfully obtain the evidence he requires; Ava’s primary concern about engaging in revenge schemes with Drew is her fear of losing her best friend, Nina.
Drew Will Need A Romantic Interest
Drew will eventually need a romantic interest, and Ava could be a perfect match. She’s currently single after her brief fling with Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) ended when he left Port Charles.
Ava and Ethan had a night together, but he abruptly fled the country when Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) arrived, fearing him. In fact, Ethan was on a date with Ava when he spotted Hudson, and he immediately ran to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and took the first flight out, leaving Ava without a word. As a result, Ava is feeling pretty bitter about Ethan’s sudden departure.
Drew Is Newly Divorced
Drew is newly divorced from his dangerous ex-wife, Willow; their collaboration on strategic matters could lead to a romantic connection between Drew and Ava, possibly sparking some feelings. Let’s face it, who else would date them; both are outcasts in town with limited romantic options.
Drew was once a respected Navy Seal, but after going to prison for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), he’s turned into a villain.
Conversely, Ava began as a true villain but has softened over time; now, they’re both at a similar level of villainy. Drew needs someone as cunning as he is, and Ava fits the bill perfectly.
Drew And Ava May Have No One Else To Date
Drew is out of favor with everyone else, so teaming up with Ava might be his only choice, but they could still have chemistry. There’s real potential for them to become a formidable power couple in Port Charles.
Together, they could wreak havoc on anyone who crosses their path. Individually, Ava and Drew are already unpredictable, but united, they could pose a serious threat. One can only imagine the shock in Port Charles if they were seen together, openly affectionate.
