Curtis was on fire when he saw Isaiah touch Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) stomach after she felt her baby kick. A perfectly innocent gesture, but Curtis erupted at the sight of another man touching his baby.
Curtis Loses It
Isaiah immediately yelled back and eventually Curtis punched him. The whole restaurant witnessed the exchange and saw Isaiah get hit, fall on a table and then hit the ground.
In the May 18 episode, Portia blows up at Curtis who is taken down to the PCPD pokey. It all happened so fast that Curtis may not have been able to stop himself even if he wanted to (we don’t think he did).
The PCPD Arrest Curtis
Also on May 18, fans are introduced to Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and we suspect he is the one who deals with hothead Curtis.
Yes, Curtis pays the price for his violence as well he should since Isaiah is a surgeon and shouldn’t be tossed around like a sack of hot potatoes.
Isaiah is the wronged party here; What Curtis did was unecessary and his actions could adversely affect Isaiah’s medical career if he injured his arm or hand in the fall.
Jordan’s Bad News
Curtis is hot because he thinks Isaiah was driving the other car when he and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had a life-altering accident. Still, Jordan doesn’t need the drama of Curtis being arrested while she’s dealing with the emotional aftermath.
Curtis Lost It
Jordan was left with facial scarring and Curtis has been her emotional support human; how will she cope with him in jail? Maybe Curtis should have thought of this before unleashed his inner caveman!
And won’t it be ironic if Isaiah turns out to be Portia’s baby daddy? She has a history of lying and we don’t put it past her to fiddle with the paternity results.
