General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Ultimatum, Will He Cut Off Gio To Protect Rocco?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might prohibit Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) from seeing Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Will Dante enforce a no-contact rule between Rocco and his troublesome brother?

It’s Not The First Time Gio Has Made A Serious Judgment Error Regarding Rocco

GH fans are aware that this isn’t the first time Gio has made a significant mistake regarding Rocco. When Rocco got intoxicated at that beach party, Gio underestimated the seriousness of the situation, believing Rocco could simply sleep it off.

However, with Rocco suffering from alcohol poisoning, Dante was furious and confronted Gio for his lack of responsibility.

Now, Gio is about to experience déjà vu as he has once again disappointed Dante over Rocco and will have to deal with Dante’s anger. Dante had been proud of Gio for stepping up to help Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), which made it seem like a positive father-son relationship was starting to develop.

So Much For That!

Regrettably, that will likely disappear in an instant once Gio reveals his actions. As the week of November 17-21 begins, Gio is set to confess to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that he is the one responsible for Rocco’s break-in at the lab.

While Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) certainly had a part in this situation as well, Gio is prepared to own up to his mistakes.

He should never have involved Rocco or any of the other teenagers. It was a significant error to drag Rocco, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyn), and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) into a situation that could easily spiral out of control.

Gio Had No Way Of Knowing How Things Would Turn Out

Despite this, Gio had no way of anticipating how badly things would unfold for Rocco. Emma and Gio never meant for the teens to do anything more than take the key fob, yet Rocco and the others proceeded with the lab break-in regardless.

As Gio shares this with Brook Lynn and conveys his regret, Dante might appear and either overhear or join the conversation.

Brook Lynn could stand up for Gio somewhat and attempt to ease Dante’s frustration with him. Sadly, Dante is currently worried about Rocco and will be looking for someone to hold accountable.

Dante May Issue An Ultimatum

Given Gio’s previous mistake with Rocco and now this latest incident, Dante might declare that enough is enough. Knowing that Dante is about to lose his temper, he could very well adopt a strategy similar to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) and prohibit Gio from seeing his brother.

While Dante may not resort to obtaining a restraining order, he could certainly instruct Gio to keep his distance from Rocco moving forward.

It’s possible that Dante will become upset, justifying his actions as being in Rocco’s best interest, as he may believe Gio is leading his younger son down the wrong path.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Gio could be facing a ban from Rocco, so stay tuned for updates on the tough message Dante might have to convey.

  • Dante is being a big jerk. Rocco is not a child and made his own bad decision. It wasn't Gio's fault, and if Dante ever wants to have any kind of relationship with him, he needs to understand that, and stop choosing the son he's nearly always known, over the one he never knew about til recently. Gio isn't gonna just slink away with his tail between his legs, or beg Dante for his love and affection. He's stronger than that, and Dante may have already ruined any chance he had of being a father to him. It would serve him right. I understand being scared for Rocco, but blaming Gio, or anyone else is just wrong.

  • Rocco is responsible for Rocco's choices. Everyone sees that but Dante. The sooner he admits he doesn't want Gio to be his son, the better off Gio will be. Dante has proven and time again that Gio is nothing more than an obligation than a son. Hell, he's treated Danny better than he treats Gio.
