General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Lashes Out Over Being the Nice Guy Who Finished Last
General Hospital spoilers report Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still processing a mountain of grief over losing Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and it’s safe to say he will be for some time to come.
Just days ago, he was planning to spend the rest of his life with this woman. He never imagined that hers would be cut so short. Moving on without her isn’t going to be easy, but he knows he has to do it for both of their children.
That’s what she would want for him. Still, Dante is only human and has to go through the stages of grief in his own way and in his own time, like anyone else.
So when he lashes out at those closest to Sam over her death, will they understand, or will this further fracture an already-broken family?
General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Dials In
Did anyone else catch how cold all of this came off for Dante? Sure, it all happened so quickly. But Dante wasn’t exactly a priority when Sam died.
Having stepped away from the hospital to share a meal with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) and the good news that he and Sam were to be married.
It didn’t occur to anyone to pick up the phone when the doctors rushed into Sam’s room and performed CPR and chest compressions for half an hour hoping to revive her.
It didn’t occur to them to reach out when they said Sam was dead. Instead, he had to hear it across the room like a stranger who accidentally overheard someone else’s private conversation he wasn’t supposed to be privy to. As the grief catches up with him, his anger over being treated that way may as well.
GH Spoilers Tease Kristina is Already Furious
Lashing out at Alexis and Jason Morgan (Steve Morgan) — the only two people who were there at the time — isn’t going to get Dante very far.
The Davis girls have a lot of opinions about Stone Cold, but mostly, they love him. He’s always been there, respected Sam, and they knew how much he loved her — and vice versa.
Of course, Jason can take Dante’s hits like a champ. He will understand what the guy is going through, but will Alexis handle it as smoothly?
It’s reasonable to predict that Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) won’t. She’s protective of her family and about to start taking her big sister role very seriously.
General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis is Tapped Out
Alexis doesn’t have the bandwidth to battle anyone anymore. She is barely hanging on as she grapples with the reality that her first child is gone forever.
Meanwhile, the two she has left can’t stop going for the jugular with one another as they both grieve the loss of the baby they more or less shared.
Dante’s anger may be justified but Alexis won’t have it in her to be his whipping post either. Will he beat her down far enough that she reaches for an old crutch at a bar, or can Alexis keep it together for everyone’s sake?
Will Dante further blame himself if his angry outbursts burst Sam’s loved ones over the edge? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
