His relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) flourished right up until the very moment he lost her in late October. Sam’s death changed Dante in ways he never could’ve seen coming.
When Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) woke up, he wasn’t ready for that moment. Though he thought he might be down the road, life has taken them in opposite directions.
Dante is now holding the position of Police Commissioner in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) absence, and he’s struggling to process the thought of his ex-wife and the love of his life being romantic with his best friend. Is there a world where this ends well?
Lulu’s Lapse in Judgement Could Cost Her
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) sure is laying it on thick, but Lulu has really gone to bat for him — and for her chance with him — too. She risked losing her years-long best friendship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just for a chance to explore whether this is more than lust, attraction, and loneliness.
Last we knew, Lulu was pining for Dante, and now she’s ready to fall for his best friend? Rumor has it she’s going to be so caught up in her crush on him that she might not notice the warning signs affecting both of her children.
Dante Isn’t Done Yet
While Lulu has stars in her eyes over her new love interest, Dante keeps his head down taking care of business. So far, Lulu can’t seem to keep a good enough eye on Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and it seems like the risks to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) are right around the corner.
He’s had a tough time the last few years and can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Nathan was quick to confirm that he and Dante are okay, but is it possible that Dante just said what he thought was expected for the sake of their relationship and their shared work environment? Something tells me it’s not going to be as easy as he thinks to watch Lulu move on with Nathan.
Nathan Raises Red Flags
As Nathan’s behavior continues to trigger tripwires, I’m eager to see who is going to be the first person to speak up and call it out. Will it be Maxie — noticing he’s not really the same as the guy she said goodbye to seven years ago? Might Dante call foul when he realizes Nathan is missing more than his baseball skills? Of course, some fans think Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) might have been aware this whole time that he’s not really Nathan.
