General Hospital Spoilers: Danny’s Meltdown After Sam’s Death Brings Trouble For Rocco
General Hospital spoilers tease that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has had a crazy year. Back in March, Danny discovered that his father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was alive.
Danny and the rest of Port Charles had believed until that point that Jason had died on Cassadine Island over three years prior.
Danny’s mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had noticed even before then that Danny was starting to act out, behaving more like his father. This terrified Sam, who was worried that Danny would walk headfirst into danger.

Sam tried to limit contact between Jason and Danny once Jason returned so that Danny didn’t pick up any more of Jason’s more reckless traits.
In addition, Sam knew that danger seemed to follow Jason everywhere he went, and she was terrified Danny would get caught in the crossfire.
But over the last several months, Sam has softened her stance against Jason. Jason hasn’t brought any sort of trouble for Danny, and father and son have enjoyed getting to know one another all over again. But their happiness is about to come to a screeching halt.

But now it’s Sam’s turn to put herself at risk, although it’s for a noble cause. Sam just discovered that she is a liver donor match for the ailing Lulu Spencer.
Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) have just announced to their combined children that Sam will be having the surgery that could save Lulu’s life.
Dante’s son by Lulu, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), was extremely grateful to Sam for potentially saving his mother. But fate it seems has other ideas. Sam is destined to die in the coming days, and it seems it will happen at some point during the transplant process.

If Sam does die, Rocco will be thrilled, especially if Lulu also awakens from the years long coma. But Danny likely won’t be able to hide his rage that his mother had to die for Rocco’s to live.
That could be the start of a dangerous rivalry between the two young men who were basically living as brothers until this point.
While it’s not exactly clear just yet exactly what causes Sam’s death, it won’t make a different in the end. Danny will still be without his mother while Rocco gets a second chance with his.
