General Hospital Spoilers: Danny Rebels Against Jason After Sam’s Death – Drops “Morgan” Last Name, Ops For “Quartermaine” Way Of Life?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the clock is ticking on Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) storyline in Port Charles. Fans know that the actress was let go, and Sam is about to meet her demise at some point this fall.
However, what will the aftermath of Sam’s death look like?
GH Spoilers: Danny Morgan Will Feel Conflicted
GH spoilers suggest that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will be devastated after his mom’s death. The two had been clashing over him choosing to have a relationship when his dad, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned, and Sam was worried that Danny would be in the line of fire when it came to his father’s business dealings.
Jason leads a very adventurous life, but oftentimes, this lands him in dangerous situations. Sam didn’t want anything to happen to her son, because of Jason.
Will Danny feel guilty about how he acted in the months leading up to Sam’s death? Despite their disagreements, they remain very close; despite Danny not always listening to his mom, the two always ended discussions on a good note.
Still, Danny is only a teenager, and at his age, finding himself and where he fits in can be challenging enough. Will Danny feel resentment towards Jason? Even if he doesn’t resent his father, this could be a pivotal moment for the Danny character, much like how Jason’s car crash changed him from “Quartermaine” to “Morgan”.
Danny may have an epiphany. He may want less of an “exciting lifestyle” like his dad (and in many ways, his mom) had. He may gravitate away from anything superspy, mob, or law enforcement-related. Could he gear toward the corporate Quartermaine way of life?
GH Spoilers: Danny Morgan Is Fiercely Protective Of His Sister
Will Danny opt to “drop” the last name of Morgan and choose to officially become a Quartermaine?
The Quartermaine family is re-establishing their roots in Port Charles, and as Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) recently dropped “Cain”, which means Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) also dropped it in favor of a Q last name, could Danny do the same thing?
Could Danny also choose to live at the Q mansion with his little sister? He’ll be fiercely protective of her in light of what’s happened to Sam? Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) would have zero issues with this, and it would also allow Danny to live with Scout, as she’ll move in full-time with Drew.
But overall, could Danny decide to get closer to the Q’s, and distance himself from Jason? Will he become more invested in possibly becoming a doctor or working at ELQ? He may realize his mom was right about shying away from danger and adventure, and his number one priority may become ensuring he’s there for Scout.
Will Danny decide to change his last name and move in a new direction after his mom’s passing? Comment below! Watch GH on ABC daily so you don’t miss a moment of the drama and check out this site often for the most up-to-date General Hospital spoilers and news.
No big loss for the real fans or for jason , if Danny drops the last name Morgan.Danny was and will always be a fkin idiot. jason had nothing to do with Sam commitng suicide by jumping into the water, to look for a gun that wasn’t even used in a crime. Sam was not thinking about her son when she decided to make that jump shes stupid. Danny wants to blame his dad for his mothers stupidity by dropping his last name then there’s no great loss there.
It has been suggested many places where Sam’s children will reside after her demise, but of all, l feel the Q mansion would be the best place. After all they will be cared for by both family/staff and most of their time has been spent there as of recent years. So why change something that has been working.
