General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Gives Dex The “Sam McCall” Treatment – Will The Cop Be The Next Victim To OD On Digitalis?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that in an explosive twist of events, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was stabbed on duty when he was attacked by someone unknown this week. Fans have a feeling it may have been Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober); however, this has yet to be confirmed.
With that being said, it wouldn’t be overly shocking if it was Cyrus. During the Monday, December 9 show, Dex and Cyrus had an odd encounter, where the cop called the criminal out on visiting his niece, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) on Halloween.
Of course, that was the day Cyrus offed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) via an injection of digitalis in her IV bag.
Is it a coincidence that Dex got attacked shortly after this conversation? Cyrus may be concerned that Dex could link Sam’s digitalis OD to him.
He may have been hoping to get rid of him beforehand. Still, as Dex’s injury isn’t overly concerning, so, could Cyrus choose another path to finish the job?

GH spoilers note that Dr. Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) diagnosis was a positive one for Dex, which feels a little like déjà vu. If fans recall, when Sam first came out of her liver transplant surgery, Lucas predicted a smooth recovery.
This is why it was so shocking that Sam passed away, the way she did. Fans were anticipating Sam’s exit; however, it felt like one moment she was laughing with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and the next, she was gone.
As there are zero complications with Dex’s injury, could fans see Cyrus give him the Sam McCall treatment and inject his bag with digitalis?

Fans can’t help but feel as if Dex may suffer a grim fate by the time this week is over. After all, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is set to get some life-changing news by Friday, December 13. If Dex were to pass away, this could blow Cyrus’s serial killer storyline wide open.
Dex is an awesome character with a great fan following; however, the reality is, that he’s expendable. He has no real roots in the little town – other than Joss, and possibly Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) – and his passing would create the shock value needed to move Cyrus’ storyline forward.
