Things Go Very Wrong …
General Hospital’s promo for the week of September 21-25 offers some interesting insight into this storyline. There’s a scene of Curtis in jail, as an inmate approaches him. The man tells Curtis to find a reason not to be in his cell after lunch.
As scenes shift, Sidwell is cornered by the same inmate, who has another man with him, in the cell.
Rewinding a bit, some scripts were leaked on Instagram back in late August that confirmed Sidwell and Curtis will end up in the hospital after the incident. In addition, Curtis will end up fighting for his life. As these scenes were filmed in August, it looks like they’ll air this week.
What’s Curtis Ashford’s Motivation?
So, if Curtis gets a heads-up about Sidwell’s attack … what would motivate him to go into the cell and rescue the man?
After all, Curtis wants nothing more than to leave Pentonville. The last thing he needs is any kind of trouble like this to set him back.
There’s no way Curtis would risk his life and freedom for someone like Sidwell. Not only is the man vile, but they aren’t exactly friends … either!
Could Curtis go to the prison warden about what he’s found out? Will the warden concoct some sort of sting operation to nab the inmates looking to ambush Sidwell? Maybe he’s looking for help; perhaps he offers Curtis early probation if he can help them and pull this all off.
Sadly, it seems like Curtis will end up fighting for his life when all is said and done! Will he end up being okay? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
