General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Arrested, Is He The Real Shooter Behind Drew’s Attack?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that everyone is looking at Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in connection with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. What implications will this have for the head of Aurora Media?

All Eyes Are On Curtis For Drew’s Shooting

This week’s GH promo features a scene where Curtis appears shocked as he inquires of Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) whether he is being taken into custody.

During the week of November 24-28, Dante Falconerni (Dominic Zamprogna) took another look at the Drew shooting case and sought Nathan’s perspective.

Even though Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is the main suspect in this investigation and her trial is approaching, Dante felt it was worthwhile to revisit the file.

In that moment, Dante remarked that reviewing Curtis’s statements might be beneficial, given the tension between him and Drew.

That being said, it seems unlikely that Curtis actually shot Drew; however, he could be framed for the crime by the congressman or his estranged wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

If Drew Can’t Frame Michael Into Being Prosecuted For His Shooting, Curtis Is The Next Best Thing!

If Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) can’t be caught for the shooting, Drew would be more than happy to see Curtis take the fall for it. Regardless, there’s a strong possibility that Portia might engage in some deceitful tactics to shift the blame away from herself and onto Curtis.

After all, Portia was informed last week, thanks to her friend Ava Jerome (Maura West), that her so-called “friend” Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) implicated her as another suspect in Drew’s shooting.

This left the doctor in a frenzy, because she doesn’t want to use what she was doing that night as an alibi. Portia does have an alibi for the night of Drew’s shooting, but the last thing she wants is to disclose her location to anyone;  she spent the night with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Portia’s Pregnant And Curtis Knows-But She Doesn’t Know Whether He Or Isaiah Is The Father!

To make things more complicated, she’s now expecting, and Curtis is aware! She had truly hoped to keep her brief affair with her hospital coworker a secret until she could arrange for a DNA test to determine the identity of her child’s father.

Portia excels at manipulation, so if she can devise a way to shift the focus onto Curtis and away from herself, she will do so without hesitation.

This is especially true since Curtis is moving forward with her rival, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). GH spoilers suggest that the tension surrounding Drew’s shooting will reach a boiling point during the week of December 1, but will viewers finally discover the true perpetrator behind the shooting anytime soon?
