General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could be a Cassadine relative. He seems to know too much about Wyndemere and the family to not have some family connection-but the remaining Cassadine family in Port Charles apparently don’t know about him!
General Hospital Spoilers: Who Could Jenz Be Related To?
Jenz could be the son of a Cassadine sister and her husband, Sophia Cassadine-Davidovich and Alexei Davidovich, who have never been cast on the show.
Sophia was the sister of Mikkos Cassadine, (John Colicos) and his brothers, and as far as where “Sidwell” comes from it could either be a pseudonym or she could have remarried.
It’s obvious that he knows a lot about Wyndemere and Spoon Island, as he sought out Ava Jerome (Maura West) Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) ex-wife for art.
He also sought out Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who, if he is Sophia Cassadine’s son, would be his cousin through Mikkos. It sounds like he also knows about her late sister Kristina Cassadine (Jaime Ray Newman) because he made a remark about Alexis’ daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) name.
GH Spoilers: He May Know Valentin Cassadine, But Not As A Family Connection
There is a possibility that he and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may know or know of each other, but not as cousins-at least not on Valentin’s part.
Valentin worked for many years as a mercenary and frequently dealt in diamonds and precious stones, and they could have done business together.
It’s doubtful that the Cassadine family history was left in Wyndemere after Nikolas left and was later put in prison-and Valentin may have taken it when he moved.
There’s a possibility he and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) hid out there prior to escaping to Europe, considering Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) found a box of Charlotte’s things when she broke in.
But Jenz has made a point of reaching out to all the Cassadine relatives still in Port Charles, other than Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
General Hospital Spoilers: Jenz Requested A Meeting With Laura Collins
Jenz also requested a meeting with Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) although that won’t go well-she’ll tell him he’s not wanted in Port Charles.
That would probably be because he’d held her son Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) hostage, although Jenz’ interest in meeting with her may not be because of Lucky.
If Jenz is a Cassadine, his interest would likely be because of Nikolas, his uncle Stavros Cassadine’s (Robert Kelker-Kelly) son-he’ll want a chance to prove himself to Laura.
No one can blame Laura or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for not trusting him after he kidnapped Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) over a diamond or two Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) stole!
And even if he does explain his Cassadine connections to Laura, it’s doubtful she’ll welcome him as extended family!
