General Hospital Spoilers: Corinthos Family Faces Turmoil As Cullum’s Order Threatens Sonny’s Life

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) might issue a deadly command that shakes the Corinthos family to its core. Is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) facing yet another medical crisis?

Marco Wanted Cullum To Get Rid Of Sonny

In the episode of GH that aired on January 26, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), made a bold attempt to convince Cullum that Sonny posed a significant threat to their operations.

Meanwhile, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), was comfortably lulled into a deceptive sense of security regarding his supposed control over Sonny.

Seizing the initiative, Marco decided to take matters into his own hands-although Cullum appeared to have some suspicions that Marco might be driven by a desire for revenge.

Marco insisted that his motivations were purely focused on the success of the project; from his point of view, Marco firmly believes that they must find a way to eliminate Sonny from the equation. The pressing question remains: what will happen if Cullum finds himself in agreement with Marco’s evaluation?

Cullum Is A Planner, A Plotter, And A Person Who Gets Things Done

Cullum is undoubtedly the type of person who takes initiative and gets things accomplished, which puts Sonny at risk of a potentially lethal attack. Over the past few years, Sonny has encountered more than his share of frightening situations, but another unsettling event may lie ahead.

If Cullum issues a deadly command, Sonny might find himself gravely injured and barely hanging on to life.

While it’s likely that Sonny will survive if Cullum targets him, the Corinthos family could still suffer significantly from the ensuing chaos. Should Sonny experience a brush with death, his family will be confronted with a hauntingly familiar nightmare.

Cullum Could Easily Be Sonny’s Newest Enemy

If Sonny survives to retaliate, Cullum could emerge as his latest adversary, and an enemy and a threat to reckoned with-Cullum’s not someone you ignore!  With the assistance of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sonny might be able to identify the culprit behind this threat and make it his goal to eliminate Cullum entirely-that’s quite likely to happen.

However, there may be some uncertainty in the interim regarding who is truly responsible for the attack on Sonny.

Sidwell or even Marco could come under suspicion, but Sonny is likely to eventually uncover the truth about Cullum and strategize his revenge.

Sonny has a tendency to clash with any villain that rises in Port Charles, so it’s reasonable to expect that he will confront Cullum at some point, and their rivalry will quickly escalate.
