Sasha is at Ferncliff because she is being gaslighted by her evil guardian and MIL Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burrows). The plotline has become a hot one among fans who are not ok with what Gladys is doing to poor Sasha. Sasha was living her best life when Gladys decided she needed access to the young woman’s bank account to fund her gambling losses.
This has led to Gladys and one of her fellow poker players teaming up to drug Sasha which caused her to lose it all over again. Gladys was once a lovable crackpot, but now she has crossed a line that fans aren’t having.
