General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Is Getting Just as Bad as Drew – Time for Him to Exit?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) made a splashing debut (literally) by parachuting into the Metro Court pool in June 2022 and really hit the ground running on the soap.
With that said, in recent months, Cody is starting to give everyone, including fans, the ‘ick’. Is it time for this character to exit the little town?
Bell’s Gone from Hero to Zero – Just Like Drew
Unfortunately, ever since Cody found out that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was his cousin and the two broke up, he’s spiraled in a bad way.
More than just gambling again, recently spreading the rumor that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was Sasha’s baby daddy was just a slimeball move. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Not to mention trying to throw Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) under the bus and getting into a fight with him and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) during Charlie’s re-opening.
While Cody and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) are anything but friends, they seem to be walking down that same narrow path from Port Charles’ hero to town zero. At this point, unless the soap has concrete plans to turn Cody back into the decent (and charming) character he once was, should he just exit the show?
Can A Romance with Molly Turn Things Around?
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) recently split from TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and has been in Cody’s orbit since his Charlie’s fight arrest. Much like Sasha, Molly’s a “good girl”; however, the town’s district attorney is also one that goes strictly by the books.
The two have some interesting chemistry together, so could the show help redeem the character if Cody and Molly enter a romance?
Cody did mention that his recent spiral back to gambling was because he had no reason to be the “good guy” for anyone. Could Molly help give Cody a reason to redeem himself, once more?
