Is Chase A Redeemable Character?
Well, that’s what a lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder as it seems like Chase has become the kind of guy that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) simply can’t trust anymore just because he’s gotten a little too close for comfort with Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen).
But here’s the question that has been on everyone’s mind lately: is Chase really that bad of a guy or does he simply not know what he’s doing? It’s one thing to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it’s another thing to be consciously following in Willow’s direction because you might still be into her.
Needless to say, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about where the character is possibly headed and whether or not he’s ever going to get his ‘good guy’ status back. Right now, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon.
Some critics made comments such as, “Chase was always someone who was by-the-book & looked for the best in everyone. It does seem like GH has had to dumb him down though, so he can’t figure out Willow has done.”
What’s Next For Chase?
“He could be redeemed, because while annoying & enabling he really hasn’t done a lot wrong or criminal.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “Chase being constantly shirtless can’t distract us from how dumb he is. I fast forward his scenes with BLQ. They’re both too bland to watch.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Chase is still probably the most morally good person on the show. The main thing he’s done wrong is be blissfully unaware of how his interactions with Willow disrespect his wife, like being shirtless with her while she was unpacking.”
Then again, GH fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
