General Hospital Spoilers: Chase’s Future With The PCPD Falls Apart Because of His Loyalty to Willow?
General Hospital spoilers report Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has been hard at work taking up the mantle of the case against Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
The PCPD didn’t exactly disapprove of his little side hustle, but it is clear now that Acting Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) — once Chase’s partner on the police force — isn’t exactly thrilled with the position his pal has taken on.
Planting himself squarely in the middle of the investigation, muddying the waters with his feelings for Willow, and now risking the entire case on the stand, feels like a betrayal to Dante, never mind how Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is feeling about it! Can Chase fix this mess before it goes too far?
Chase and Dante Part Ways
Dante and Chase had a fairly frank discussion with one another in the interrogation room following Chase’s testimony. Immediately after he stepped off the stand, Dante demanded they meet back at the station.
That’s where the mud-slinging began. Dante accused Chase of jeopardizing the entire case against Willow with frivolous accusations that the PCPD wasn’t running an honest investigation.
Chase fired back, adding insult to injury with claims that Dante wasn’t remaining unbiased in his work, and was pushing for the case against Willow as a means of protecting his brother, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). These two might not come back from this.
GH Spoilers Tease His Career is on the Line
Either way, Chase left the interrogation room after being ordered to turn in his badge and placed on suspension.
The look on Dante’s face said it all, but it wasn’t half the look we know Brook Lynn is about to give her hubby.
The reality is, Dante is Chase’s boss for the moment, and now he has to try to right the course of this investigation while battling interference from one of the department’s best and brightest.
His Marriage is on Shaky Ground Too
rook Lynn is right to be worried that Chase has pushed this private investigation into Willow’s case a bit too far. She has been concerned ever since she found out about it that he was too invested, and possibly biased in his pursuit of Willow’s innocence.
Does Chase even care that she is innocent, or does he just want to make sure she doesn’t go to jail? Those are two different things, and Brook Lynn is bound to want to get to the bottom of that, as well as why Chase is so devoted to his ex-wife that he would risk his career and marriage to her. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers up ahead.
