General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) is willing to sink as low as it takes if it means gaining the upper hand on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Charlotte is fed up with Drew running the show and making life difficult for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), so she’s ready to fight back in a big way.
In the September 16 episode, Charlotte suggested that Drew needed to get caught with someone he shouldn’t be with. Danny questioned if Charlotte meant a criminal, but she said she meant someone like her.
It’s possible Charlotte genuinely means herself and that she intends to create some sort of seductive trap. Charlotte might hope she can make it look like Drew’s crossing the line with her, but she may not be the right person to use for this plot.
Danny might talk Charlotte out of that considering Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) would kill Drew if he so much as looked at Charlotte the wrong way!
This is still Scout Cain’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) father, so Danny might suggest they don’t want Valentin taking fatal action.
If this is the plan Charlotte wants to use, she’d be better off recruiting some other blonde stranger who’s nowhere near old enough to be with Drew. Charlotte might have some day-player friend who gets involved here.
Whatever the case, GH fall preview spoilers confirm Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is going to expose a scandalous secret through a news story. Lulu will score a hot scoop and publish it, but a defamation suit will follow.
This Lulu angle seems like more proof that Charlotte might get someone else to help set Drew up. Would Lulu really consider it a hot story to plaster everywhere if it were about her own daughter?
Regardless, Lulu’s story could easily be about Drew and the defamation suit may be filed by him, too. Charlotte’s scheme could lead to her mom’s career ending up in jeopardy.
General Hospital spoilers say Charlotte’s plan will backfire spectacularly in the end and lead to even more issues. We’ll see Charlotte launch a major crisis within her own family and set the stage for more conflict between Danny and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) as well.
