Chad And Luana Both Left Their Jobs
Chad Duell has gained recognition not only for his role as Michael Corinthos on GH but also for beginning a family with Luana Lucci, welcoming their son in 2023.
Recently, Luana shared an unexpected update with fans through an extensive social media post, prompting many followers to express their own thoughts and reactions to the news.
Duell is widely recognized by soap fans for his portrayal of Michael Corinthos on the ABC soap opera, a role he assumed in 2010 after Drew Garrett.
Recently, in November, the actor revealed that he would be stepping away from the character. However, Executive Producer Frank Valentini has indicated that the option for Duell to return as Michael remains available if he chooses to do so.
Luana Talks About Being A Flight Attendant
In his personal life, Duell married Taylor Novack in 2012, but their marriage was annulled later that same year; afterwards, he dated and was engaged to actresses Kristin Alderson and Courtney Hope.
In 2022, he began dating Luana Lucci, and the following year, they welcomed their son, Dawson. Luana took to social media to announce a significant change in her life, stating, “This chapter is officially closed,” referring to her career as a flight attendant.
She shared a photo of herself in uniform among airplane seats and expressed, “For years, being a flight attendant felt like my dream job. I was proud to wear the uniform and hoped things would improve — that the sacrifices would be worthwhile-however, at some point, the dream began to take a toll on me.”
Now, Luana Finally Feels Free
She continued, “Endless fatigue, uncertain schedules, being away for days at a time, longing for my son while I care for strangers at 35,000 feet.
Earning less than a livable wage while enduring 15-hour shifts; and being told, “Just hang in there”-but how long are we expected to endure-10 years, 40? I’ve moved past the version of myself that thought this was the only way to lead a meaningful life. I’m seeking peace, presence, and purpose; I’m ready to create something that doesn’t require recovery.
As Luana wrapped up her post, she added, “Leaving wasn’t simple, but it was essential; I know I’m not leaving with nothing- I’m leaving stronger and, at last… free.”
