General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Goes On The Offensive, Prepares For Eventual Arrest

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently received shocking news from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

With the help of Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Sam was able to locate the evidence the FBI had been using to force Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to work for them.

The FBI has a recording of Carly admitting she was in charge of a mob family for a time. Sam immediately told Carly, who was astonished at how far Jason would go for her.

Knowing she can’t turn herself in, Carly decided to find a way to neutralize the evidence so Jason is no longer under the control of the FBI.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer went to a surprising source for advice!

Carly’s first step was to visit Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) at Pentonville. Carly and Brennan have formed a sort of flirty friendship even though he once seemingly planned to kidnap her and he’s accused of being part of the Pikeman Group.

But all Carly knows for certain is that Brennan was once head of the WSB so it’s in that capacity she makes the visit. Carly explained the situation to Brennan.

She wanted to know if the FBI would honor their deal with Jason. Brennan confirmed her worst fears by telling her that they would not and eventually Carly would most likely have to face the racketeering charges.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer needs to make a plan

Knowing that the FBI will eventually come after her regardless of their deal with Jason, Carly was advised to get ahead of the situation as best she can.

Brennan went on to suggest that Carly obtain legal counsel to mount a defense pro-actively. That means Carly next visit will most likely be to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

Diane is an excellent lawyer, but even she may have difficulty preparing a defense just in case. But Diane will likely make another suggestion, one she’s made to Carly before.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Carly Spencer turn against Sonny Corinthos

Awhile back, Carly was worried about being charged for Insider Trading. Diane advised her then that she might be able to make a deal in order to secure her freedom.

If they could Carly to flip on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) she might be able to get the charges against her dropped. After all, Sonny is a much bigger fish than Carly could ever be.

Carly didn’t want to go that route before but this time the stakes are much higher and she may have no choice but to testify against Sonny to prevent going to prison herself?

What do you think?

Do you think Brennan gave Carly good advice? Will the FBI eventually charge Carly no matter what? Will Diane suggest Carly testify against Sonny in exchange for her freedom?
