General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Agrees to Drew’s Plan — Is a Two-Year Separation in Their Cards?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) think they have everything figured out. Drew is going to turn himself in, in an effort to spare Carly of having to do any time in person. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) sure isn’t happy about this plan of theirs, though it might not be fair to credit it to Carly at all. Carly tried to talk him out of this, but Drew had already submitted his plea before he even told Carly what he was up to. Drew stood to negotiate a six-month stint at Spring Ridge, and his attorney — Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) — saw no reason that the judge wouldn’t accept Drew’s plea and sentence him accordingly. So when the judge recommended a two-year stay at Pentonville, Drew’s heart sank. What will come of his relationship with Carly after two years of time off?

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Preps for Court

Drew was tying up loose ends and settling his affairs before accepting his fate. Expecting to go away for six months is a hard pill to swallow. He didn’t want to be away from his daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). But he knew this was the best option for everyone involved, especially since Carly would lose custody of her daughter, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) if she went to prison. Sam didn’t necessarily see his side of things, and the Quartermaines may not either, but Drew is doing this for Carly no matter who disagrees with him — even Carly!

GH Spoilers Hint Things Don’t Go as Planned

Unfortunately for Drew, it appears that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) might have gotten her clutches into the judge. She has been intent on seeing to it that Drew goes away for much longer than six months, and that’s just what she managed to deliver. Drew and Zeke were stunned when the judge agreed with Drew’s plea of guilt, but noted that his past service as a Navy SEAL and extreme wealth afforded him too much opportunity to be a risk to society, as well as a flight risk. Thus, the judge handed out a much longer sentence – four times that which Drew was expecting.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly is Racked with Guilt

Carly was riddled with guilt when she heard the judge sentence Drew to two years behind bars. Furthermore, he’s not going to Spring Ridge, but Pentonville instead. This is not what they will have prepared for. This isn’t what Drew agreed to. Zeke was just as stunned as the rest of them, and Carly nearly ran the risk of being held in contempt if she didn’t reel in her outburst in the courtroom. If she thought Sam was mad at her before, she’s got another thing coming now. Guilt will eat Carly alive as Drew is carted off to Pentonville for the next two years — and all for something that she did. Now the real question is: will she wait for him? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
