General Hospital Spoilers: Can a Liver Transplant Courtesy of Lucky Bring Lulu Back to Us?

General Hospital spoilers assert Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is struggling in a coma that has claimed the last four years of her life. When the doctor broke the news to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that her liver was slowly failing, the writing seemed to be on the wall.

Interventions have not been discussed at this juncture, but Laura is processing the grief that instantly set in when thinking about losing her daughter after all of this time hoping she would come out of this. When the dust settles, will there be room for discussing ways to mitigate, slow, or overturn the damage?

Could Lulu survive this, and if so, who will save her life?

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Complicated

Performing a transplant is a big undertaking for any normal patient, but one in such ill health that they’ve been consistently asleep for four years is a different situation. Can Lulu sustain a liver transplant in her condition? Is it worth putting her body through and risking killing her on the table?

Will any doctor take this case on, or could it spell disaster that might be construed as unethical? It’s certainly going to be an interesting conversation between her family and medical providers.

GH Spoilers Leak Family Comes First

Speaking of family, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is coming home. We know that for certain, and his first appearance is slated for next week. Does this mean Lucky is coming home to sit by his sister’s bedside and pray she wakes up before she’s gone for good?

Might it signal that the family will be looking for a donor to save her life? How long can she last in a coma without any physical activity and on a feeding tube diet with her liver wearing out?

Will Lucky be the lucky match that brings her back to us, and if so, does that mean she will be revived — or remain in a coma?

General Hospital Spoilers — What Lies Ahead?

It’s anyone’s guess what comes next. Lucky coming home could just be his way of supporting his mother through this transition as she prepares to lose her daughter.

For four years, she’s been allowed to remain hopeful that eventually Lulu would wake up and be back in their lives. Her children have suffered enough.

They don’t even know where Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is. The fans are screaming for Lucky to come home and bring Lulu back to life. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
