General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Might Get Her Son Back, But Will It Cost Her Her Father?

General Hospital spoilers report Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has been struggling with the truth about his parentage. Ever since finding out at the Nurses’ Ball earlier this year that he was adopted  and that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were his biological parents he hasn’t wanted anything to do with them or most of the Quartermaine family.

It has taken time for the ice around his heart to thaw, but Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) recent heart attack could be the tragedy that brings everyone back together again, however regretfully.

With Dante’s cruel words ringing in his ears after learning it was Gio who put Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) on a path to prison, how much more does Gio have to do to redeem himself? Will he lean on Brook Lynn as Dante ices him out, and could she end up doing the same if she loses her dad this week?

Dante Claps Back

Dante’s bark might be worse than his bite, but the fans were on the edges of their seats on Monday watching him tear into Gio all over again. The look on Brook Lynn’s face said it all.

She couldn’t believe Dante would lose his cool like that, despite the amount of pressure he was under and turmoil he was feeling after seeing his son carted off to jail for something he didn’t do.

Learning that Gio was behind this misstep in Rocco’s youth was just another example of his lack of responsibility and integrity as far as Dante was concerned. Will he come to regret this? Maybe, but not soon enough.

GH Spoilers Suggest Brook Lynn and Gio Lean on Each Other

Brook Lynn is going through it right now. Waiting to see if her dad comes out of this bypass surgery intact has been a heavy burden to bear. Now, watching Dante and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) stress over what is happening with Rocco on top of Ned’s heart attack is an even heavier load.

But seeing Dante unload on their son was more than she could handle, and we expect there might be some backlash headed his way. First, her goal will be ensuring Gio knows Dante doesn’t speak for her.

Gio may lean on Brook Lynn for insight into why Dante acts this way and how he’s ever going to overcome it, and it could be the catalyst to start bringing mother and son together.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sayonara, Ned?

Sadly, Ned’s potential death is looming, and that might be the glue that binds Brook Lynn and her grown-up baby boy. If Dante is going to cast him aside, leave it to Brook Lynn to pick up the broken pieces and try to make her relationship with Gio — and her own heart — whole again.

There’s just one problem: Ned’s death could shatter it. Will having Gio in her corner be the only thing that gets her through if she does lose her dad? Maybe we’ll get lucky and get to hang onto Ned, but the scare of possibly losing him could be enough to scare Gio straight — straight back to the Quartermaine mansion with his family, where he belongs, that is. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this plays out,
