Brook Lynn has been planning to adopt a child with husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for some time now, as Chase recently learned that he is infertile.
Now that Brook Lynn knows that Gio is her son, and that her mother Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) lied to her about the circumstances of Gio’s “adoption”, Brook Lynn seems to feel differently about adopting a child.
Harrison Chase Agreed To Give Brook Lynn Some Time
Brook Lynn and Chase recently had a conversation about adopting a child and Brook Lynn told Chase that she needs some time, and wants things to be better between her and Gio before she considers going through with adoption.
Chase seemed to be frustrated by Brook Lynn’s decision, he ultimately agreed to give Brook Lynn some time. Although Chase wants a child with his wife, he would have to make sure to wait until Brook Lynn is ready.
Harrison Chase Brings Up Adoption Again
Perhaps in the near future, Chase would approach Brook Lynn again about starting the adoption process. At first, Brook Lynn might tell him that she still is not ready, and needs time.
Things are still chilly at best with Gio. Chase would continue to grow frustrated by Brook Lynn putting off their plans. Brook Lynn is still hoping that Gio will come around to her someday, and will never stop trying to win him over.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Has Come To A Decision
Eventually, Brook Lynn would come to the decision that she no longer wants to adopt. Too much has happened with Gio, and she doesn’t want another person to go through what she went through- wondering where her baby is, and how the baby is, etc.
Brook Lynn would be forced to face the difficult task of telling her husband that adoption is now out of the question for her.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Breaks The Truth To Harrison Chase
Brook Lynn would tell Chase how she feels about adoption now, and how adopting a baby is no longer in the cards for her. This would devastate him, as he has been looking forward to having a child with Brook Lynn, and has been anxious to get the process started.
This would definitely hit Chase hard, and he will understand why Brook Lynn has changed her mind, but it would still devastate him to no end.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase Have A Rough Road Ahead
Brook Lynn and Chase may now have different visions for their future, there would no doubt be complications.
Chase would still love Brook Lynn, but be unsure how to move forward with his marriage. Brook Lynn, meanwhile, may grow closer to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga) as they bond over having a son together. Also, Gio is finally starting to come around. Can Brook Lynn and Chase beat the odds?
