He is expected to relieve Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) of his research duties and replace him with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). In turn, will Dalton defect to the WSB?
It’s a tantalizing question since the stakes are high—Dalton is a working on an ultra-sensitive project and Jenz and Britt are both shady as heck. This could have major implications for PC, let’s peek inside this complicated scenario.
Britt Needs a Job
First of all, Britt needs a job in Port Charles. She’s gone from Chief of staff to a lowly, intern level job and no one seems eager to help her out.
She was conducting research at the 5 Poppies Resort but also getting crucial medicine in return.
Was it Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) running the overall show? She was left meds with a note signed “C” and it’s realistic to think this person is the big research investor at the hospital and The 5 Poppies.
Is Cesar Faison Alive?
The person behind “C” could also be a person with Cesar’s memory or brain: Peter August (Wes Ramsey) or Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Britt has not campaigned for Dalton’s job, but she could be forced to do it, just as she’s been forced to toe the line with a mysterious overlord for the last few years.
Will Britt Replace Dalton?
Here’s what we do know: during the week of October 27, someone has the idea that Britt should lead the research at the hospital. Dalton is let go and now it’s he who needs to find a job.
With his skill set, he should be able to find a dark employer willing to look past his shady resume. The WSB sounds like a perfect fit!
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is familiar with the underhanded situation and could pad his numbers by hiring Dalton.
Will Dalton Turn WSB?
If so, maybe Dalton has to give something in return, like the answers to what’s being researched and who’s in charge.
This is a fluid storyline. There are many unknowns after months of it being onscreen so the writers have a lot of options to choose from moving forward.
If Dalton agrees to snitch, might he be neutralized before he can sing? November Sweeps brings with it huge plot points and we predict that next month will be full of intrigue and revelations.
Sidwell would not hesitate to do away with Dalton if he felt it necessary. Or, he could use Dalton as a WSB plant.
