General Hospital spoilers leak Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) made a rather bold move in stabbing himself with a shank and planting it in the hands of a fellow inmate to frame him for the attack.
But he knew he was living on borrowed time in Pentonville if he wasn’t going to be able to communicate with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) soon.
Alas, the old injure yourself to get out of prison ploy came into play. While Brennan is shackled to a hospital bed, he’s got a smidgen more freedom than he ever will inside the barbed wire and gates that contain Pentonville.
Will he be able to convey the intel he received from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to Valentin without anyone growing wise to what he’s up to? We think not!
General Hospital Spoilers — Anna is on the Case
Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was Brennan’s first visitor at the hospital, presumably. After all, word travels fast in the criminal justice world.
As for Valentin, he’ll find out a bit later that Brennan has been carted off to the hospital but sustained his injuries. Having the courage to stab himself that way must mean Brennan felt the information Carly gave him on the FBI investigation was awfully important.
Little does he know, Anna is aware of what Carly told him — though she did let on that she knew about their visit. Was that wise on her part?

We can rest assured that Anna has people watching the comings and goings at Brennan’s hospital room just as much as she does at the prison.
But who will have the upper hand in this situation is hard to tell; Valentin has been known to pay off some guards and have an entire staff in his pocket when it suits his agenda.
Can he slip into and out of GH without anyone noticing? Probably, if it’s only a matter of convincing the guard at Brennan’s door to keep quiet. But will news of Carly’s visit and the dirt she had on the FBI lead him back to her door — or Anna’s?
General Hospital Spoilers — All Eyes on Anna
Anna might think she’s keeping a close eye on all of Brennan’s visitors, but the truth is, he and Valentin are being just as watchful of her. Valentin is acting as a bit of a double agent.
He might be wooing Anna at night and preparing to fix her favorite meal, but he’s not going to botch all of the work he’s put into this operation with Brennan and Pikeman just to rekindle something with her.
If Anna becomes Brennan and Pikeman’s target after catching onto Valentin’s involvement in the mix, will he have no choice but to dispose of her like any other infiltrator?
