General Hospital spoilers tease that WSB Section Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) may soon realize that he’s made a huge mistake.
But can he rectify his error and still maintain his relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)? Last Christman, Brennan spent Christmas with Carly and her family, including Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Brennan seemed very interested in learning everything he could about Joss. And there was a very good reason for his interest.
Josslyn Jacks went after Cyrus Renault
Joss’ boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), was murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Thanks to Brennan, Joss was able to gather the evidence she needed to prove Cyrus’ guilt.
Armed with Dex’s gun, Joss found Cyrus’ secret base, but she was caught by Cyrus. Joss shot Cyrus dead. Brennan was there almost immediately and helped Joss cover up Cyrus’ death.
He then offered her position with the WSB, which Joss accepted. After a couple weeks of training, Brennan gave Joss her first mission.
Josslyn Jacks found herself in danger!
After several weeks getting close to Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Joss was sent along with Vaughan (Bryce Durfee) to The Five Poppies in Croatia.
It was supposed to be just a simple reconnaissance mission but once their covers were blown, both Vaughan and Joss found themselves in grave danger.
Joss had to shoot an assassin in order to save Vaughan life. Although he was wounded, Joss then stood by while Vaughan strangled the man right in front of her. Although, they disposes of the assassin’s body, the danger isn’t over.
Jack Brennan may regret recruiting Josslyn Jacks
Joss will certainly survive her first mission, but Jack may realize that he made a mistake. Recruiting Joss was bad enough, but then to send a brand new agent on such a potentially dangerous mission, is something else altogher.
Even if Carly doesn’t discover what Jack did, he may still decide to boot Joss from the WSB for her own safely. He loves Carly, and if it was his fault something happened to Joss, he may not be able to forgive himself.

Most viewers from day one of the Joss recruitment felt it was mistake and not only from the angle of Joss being Carly’s daughter. The whole idea just didn’t make good sense and writer’s haven’t given a hint of explanation of why. The short training/first mission being a dangerous one makes me question Jack’s ability of being a so called super spy himself. Definitely hope Joss gets kicked out of the WSB and writers won’t allow her to become pregnant due to her one nighter with Vaughn.
