Steve And Bradford Are Working With Zero Gravity Management On The Holiday Film Project
General Hospital actors Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Jason) have joined forces for an exciting new venture.
They are creating and starring in a holiday film that will be produced by Zero Gravity Management, the same company responsible for the acclaimed Netflix series Ozark.
Over the past year, they have been collaborating on this project alongside their partner, writer Stacy Asencio-Sutphen.
Although the title and specific plot details of the movie are currently under wraps, a press release has characterized the film as a “holiday whodunit.”
It promises to combine “quick-witted comedy, holiday romance, and a playful whodunit” as it follows two unlikely partners who inadvertently get caught up in a mystery in a delightful small town during Christmas.
Bradford Anderson Released A Statement About The Project
In a recent statement, Anderson expressed, “We truly have the most incredible fans in the world, and the ongoing question that we continually pose to ourselves is, ‘What additional steps can we take to provide them with entertainment?’ When we brainstormed this concept for a series of delightful holiday films, we realized we had stumbled upon something truly exceptional.”
This movie is envisioned as the inaugural installment in a larger franchise, with ambitious plans to unveil a new lighthearted romantic mystery every year.
Currently, the casting process is in full swing to find the two leading female roles who will share the screen with Anderson and Burton, while efforts are also being made to secure financing and distribution.
Steve Has Played Jason Quartermaine, Then Jason Morgan Since 1991, Bradford Damian Spinelli Since 2006
Burton first appeared on GH as Jason Morgan (originally Quartermaine) in 1991, while Anderson made his entrance as Damian Spinelli in 2006.
The stark difference between the reserved Jason and the exuberant Spinelli forged a partnership that quickly became beloved by fans.
The actors capitalized on their undeniable on-screen chemistry, and as Stone Cold & The Jackal (the nicknames they’ve given themselves), the duo travels nationwide to entertain audiences with music and comedy.
Since 2018, they have also been the hosts of the podcast That’s Awesome With Steve and Bradford. That’s where they chat about life, General Hospital, and feature special guests.
