General Hospital Spoilers: BLQ’s Disturbing Discovery, Ties In With Adoption Story?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) find a body.
It doesn’t necessarily mean the person is dead, but it could be someone having a medical emergency. Could this tie in with the couple’s adoption storyline? Keep reading and let’s discuss the possibilities!
Disturbing Discovery
Let’s start off by talking about that scene in the weekly preview clip. During the week of March 2, Brook Lynn and Chase find a body. At first, I assumed they found someone dead. However, it could be possible that this person is having a medical emergency.
Of course, BLQ and Chase will call 911. They will also do what they can to help the person.
‘She’s Not Breathing’
In the preview clip there is a woman’s voice declaring that “she’s not breathing.” Could this be the same person that Chase and BLQ find? What if it’s a pregnant woman? BLQ and Chase have agreed to start the adoption process. They even had a chat with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Then, BLQ found out about Chase setting up Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). So, a private adoption might be better for them than one that involves the state.
Of course, BLQ and Chase would take care of the baby until they got the approval to adopt. Every effort would be made to locate the baby’s family. However, if nobody reports a pregnant woman missing, then there might be no other family.
Adoption Complication
General Hospital spoilers reveal that this woman might pass away, leaving the baby with no known family. If the woman is a Jane Doe, that means trying to find who the baby belongs with first. In the meantime, BLQ and Chase might get approved for a temporary foster placement.
Chase might not have a criminal record yet. While he promised BLQ to drop the Michael situation, we know he’ll have a hard time doing that. What are the chances that Chase could get arrested right before the adoption is finalized?
It’s easy to see that BLQ might view this baby as “fate.” Even if they do get to keep the baby, could the child’s family turn up years later demanding answers? This kind of storyline would be interesting for the current story arcs, but it could also build up a mystery for later.
