General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) will counsel Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) after what seems to be the breakup of her and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Spencer won’t give up his baby brother, knowing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) comes with the package and Trina walked out on him!
General Hospital Spoilers: He’s Your Brother, Not Your Son!
Trina tells Ava all about the argument, and how she told Spencer, with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) witnessing, Ace was his brother, not his son!
He’d been upset over Esme moving out with the baby and felt betrayed by his grandmother, who’d not only been okay with it but is financing it-Trina was thrilled.
Spencer sullenly had told Trina if he had to choose between Ace and her, she wouldn’t like the answer-she’d saved him the trouble and walked out.
Ava has been rooting for Trina and Spencer all along but this even makes her wonder if he’s truly committed to her. It also makes her wonder if he’s worth all the trouble he’s put Trina through in the last few years and gives Trina something to think about.
GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Tries To Get Trina Robinson To Be Objective
Ava tells Trina first that she’s all for her and Spencer working things out, but at the same time, tries to get her to be objective.
She says even if Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) does return to claim Ace and reunite with Spencer, with Spencer’s attitude against Nikolas he’ll still fight for Ace.
Trina remembers when Esme was still in Spring Ridge and pregnant, how she heard Nikolas tried to get her to sign the baby over to him.
He’d also tried to get Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to hypnotize her so Esme’s memory would never return-one hears a lot when their mother works at GH!
General Hospital Spoilers: Ace Prince-Cassadine Will Always Tie Spencer Cassadine To Esme Prince
Ava tells Trina even though he’s Spencer’s brother, not his son, it’s what Spencer’s bond is to Ace that causes the problem. Spencer’s bond is more father to son than brother to brother, his fully intending to be for Ace what he feels their father isn’t for them.
If things don’t change and the relationship between Nikolas and his older son isn’t healed, then Ace will always tie Spencer to Esme, she’s part of the package.
Ava asks is that what Trina really wants, is Spencer worth accepting that, because that situation may never change. Is Spencer really worth the trouble he’s caused over the past few years, whether he claims to be her ride or die or not?
