General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Blames Herself After Lucas’ Tragedy – A Deadly Mistake?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have a guilty conscience this week on the ABC soap. Her nephew, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is threatened by Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) who goes on the warpath and holds a gun on him-she may regret not forcing him to move!
Ava Seems To Have Underestimated How Dangerous Sidwell Is
Ava seems to have underestimated how dangerous Sidwell is, but then, she’s never seen his violent side-granted, going straight can make one lose their street smarts!
She may have been a little blinded by empathy, having lost an adult child herself, she’s been a close friend helping Sidwell deal with his grief for Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
She’s offered Lucas to stay with her if he wanted to, but he declined-just like he did when his sister, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) asked.
What no one but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) understand, and that’s because Lucas told them, he stayed at Wyndemere to avenge Marco’s death.
But in doing so, Lucas has brought great danger upon himself, and when Sidwell found his leverage against Sonny and Laura was missing from his safe, Lucas is who came to mind!
Was Lucas Trying To Set A Trap For Sidwell, With Himself As The Bait?
When Ava hears about Lucas’ dangerous encounter at the construction site where the Marco Rios memorial tennis court is being built, she’ll have to ask herself a question.
Was Lucas trying to set a trap for Sidwell, with himself as the bait? The same day, Sonny will be taken by surprise-will it be for the same reason as Ava feels guilty?
Lucas had remarked to Sonny and Laura that the one way to trap Sidwell and bring him down was to catch him trying to kill someone red-handed; yet, Lucas refused Sonny’s security. Needless To Say, Ava Will Likely Discontinue Her Friendship With Sidwell!
Needless to say, Ava will likely discontinue her friendship with Sidwell, after hearing about what happened to Lucas when Sidwell went on the warpath!
She’ll have a guilty conscience, and quite possibly blame herself for not trying harder to get Lucas to move out of Wyndemere and away from Sidwell.
Even though she realizes her nephew-her only family besides her daughter and mother in New York-made his own choice, being a grown man, she’ll still regret not handling it differently.
But then, Ava has a lot of secret regrets for things she did and mistakes she made in the past, that she can’t fix. All she can do to redeem it, is try to learn from those bad experiences.
