General Hospital Spoilers: As She Prepares to ‘Lose’ Violet, Brook Lynn Learns She and Chase Can’t Have Children
General Hospital spoilers tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) isn’t doing so well since hearing that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is getting out of rehab and coming home to reclaim his little girl, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
While Brook Lynn was certainly aware that the responsibility she and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) were taking on in becoming Violet’s temporary legal guardians was just that — temporary — she can’t seem to shake the feeling that this isn’t right.
She doesn’t want to stop playing auntie-turned-mom to Violet, and it’s going to be a hard transition to go through this all over again much like she had to with Bailey Louise Jones (Riley and Miley Plonski) once upon a time.
But nothing will prepare her for the grief that may sink in when she realizes Violet could be her only shot at motherhood.

Hearing that Finn is coming home should be a joyous occasion, but it’s laced with conflict for Brook Lynn — who can’t imagine waking up in the Q mansion without Violet there to greet her and start the day getting her off to school. But rumor has it far worse news is coming.
Brook Lynn and Chase have been working on having a baby, and while it’s only been a minute, it makes sense that Brook Lynn may have checked in with her doctor to make sure everything is on the up and up before she gets pregnant.
Finding out there are fertility challenges that could impede her ever becoming a mother is going to hit twice as hard when she’s about to bid farewell to Violet.
GH Spoilers Leak There May Be Another Child Out There
To add insult to injury, there is gossip churning that Brook Lynn once had a child many years ago who she gave up for adoption.
Some fans have theorized that said child is Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who has recently come into the picture living at the Q mansion as well. However, it appears Brook Lynn and Gio are both in the dark about their attachments to one another — though it may be that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have both known all along that Gio is their grandson.
Yes, that implies Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had a child together. Will learning she can’t have more children make Brook Lynn regret ever giving up the one she had?

It seems like Lois may already be regretting keeping this secret from Brook Lynn all these years, but she likely doesn’t see a way out of the circumstance now without turning everyone’s lives upside down. Moreover, her daughter may never forgive her if she learned how Lois and Sonny intervened to keep an eye on her child when she never knew it.
