General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of March 31 to April 4 hint at a mix of festivities and turmoil! As Port Charles and the hospital prepare to commemorate the show’s 62nd anniversary, a heartbreaking incident involving the head nurse and a well-known attorney casts a shadow over the celebrations.
Anniversary Celebrations And Fond Memories
This week marks the 62nd anniversary of General Hospital, and on Tuesday, viewers will see Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in the hospital gazing at a photograph of her father, Edward Quartermaine (John Ingles).
As she strolls past the memorial wall, she observes images of significant past donors alongside the doctors and nurses who have passed away.
To the right of Edward’s picture hangs Dr. Steve Hardy’s (John Beradino) photo, with additional tributes to Rick Webber (Chris Robinson) and Tony Jones (Brad Maule) also displayed.
The episode celebrates the opening of the new Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Cardiac Wing, marking both the show’s anniversary and a tribute to the character of Monica.
It’s important to note that Leslie Charleson recently passed away, and this episode was filmed prior to her death, and unfortunately, her illness prevented her from being on set.
Port Charles Citizens Celebrate As A Tragedy Casts A Somber Shadow
Outside the nurses’ station, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle Spears) are seen strolling alongside Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Carly remarks, “It’s the anniversary of General Hospital,” to which Felicia responds, “And I have a feeling this is just the beginning!” Their conversation overlaps with glimpses of a concerned Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), followed by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Alexis is present at the hospital, and both Jason and Anna appear to be there as well, likely during the moment Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is admitted.
The scene then shifts to a cheerful Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), suggesting this moment takes place on Wednesday when he shares a meal with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
A Mistake Turns Tragic
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) can be heard expressing her confusion, saying, “I don’t understand, it was supposed to be Ava (Jerome, portrayed by Maura West)!” Meanwhile, Ric is seen strapped to a gurney after being rescued from the vehicle that Kristina had earlier tampered with by cutting the brake lines.
At the crash site, Kristina comes to the shocking realization that the car she sabotaged wasn’t Ava’s.
Earlier, Ric had parked in Ava’s designated space in the parking garage while visiting Kristina, which led to a heated confrontation between the two women.
Ric, who had retreated to another room during their argument, overheard Kristina threatening Ava.
Tragic Catastrophes
In Friday’s episode, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) hurriedly followed Kristina after she confessed to making a mistake and abruptly rushed out of Charlie’s Pub.
He races to the site of a crash, only to discover that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was in the vehicle with Ric! Desperately, he calls out, “ELIZABETH!” while paramedics and police shout, “HEY, HEY!” The Monday preview reveals them restraining him, assuring him they are doing everything possible for her.
However, it leaves viewers in suspense about Elizabeth’s condition, as Lucky is in a state of panic, desperate to reach her!
Devastating News
In the hospital, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos) is seen alongside Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) positioned behind her.
Concerned, she inquires about her father, to which Lucas responds, “Let’s find a place to sit.” The situation appears dire—Ric is lying on a gurney, with precautions in place for a spinal injury, his head and neck secured in a stabilizing device.
The serious tone in Lucas’s voice suggests that Ric may be in a coma or facing even graver circumstances.
Just when Molly and Kristina had finally reconciled, their fragile peace is threatened when Molly discovers that Kristina tampered with the brake lines on Ric’s car!

All I have to say is Damn you Lucky if you really love Elizabeth don’t keep the fact that Kristina caused this crash! Not accident because it wasn’t. Either turn her in or talk her into turning herself in! This girl needs help with her mental illness now before she does kill someone!! And if you don’t do anything about it then I hope you’re relationship with Elizabeth blows up in your face! Oh and you may even be held as an accessory after the fact when it comes out and they find you knew about it!
