General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Frantic Fight – Can She Save Jason and Joss From Disaster?
General Hospital Spoilers boasts that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) loyalty to Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) might land him in hotter water than he’s ever faced, with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) caught in the middle trying to sort truth from chaos.
Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) murder has everyone pointing fingers, and while Jason is swearing he’s clean, the planted evidence might say otherwise. If Joss’ secret murder dares to slip out, Jason could throw himself on the grenade to shield her — leaving Anna grasping at straws to save them both.
Jason’s Alibi Tests Anna’s Trust
Jason has already laid his cards on the table with Anna, flat-out insisting he didn’t kill Cyrus and claiming he’s got an alibi to back it up.
He’s not a liar; if he’s dodging, he zips his lips. He’s not the type to make things up, and Anna knows that. So when he says he wasn’t there, Anna was inclined to believe him.
She has seen him take the heat before without blinking, but this time, his steady denial has her convinced he’s telling the truth — or at least, he thinks he is. Problem is, no one is corroborating his alibi, and Anna’s gut might not be enough to keep Jason in the clear.
Planted Evidence Puts Him in the Crosshairs
WSB Chief Jack Brennan (Chris Mckenna) has been busy. A couple of strands of Jason’s hair — conveniently planted at the crime scene — could turn this into a slam-dunk case against him.
With Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) continuing to lie about Jason’s whereabouts on the night that Cyrus went missing, Jason has no alibi.
The PCPD won’t need much more to lock him up once Cyrus’ body turns up. Jack is clearly playing a dirty game, and that hair sample was the ace up his sleeve.
In contrast, Anna Devane is sharp, but even she might not sniff out the setup before the cuffs come out. Jason has been framed before, but this time, the stakes feel personal — and dangerously close to pinning him for good.
Joss’ Secret and Jason’s Sacrifice
Joss is in a brutal spot, and it’s about to test Jason’s limits. If he finds out she’s the one who took Cyrus down, all bets are off. He’ll take the fall for her without question.
In the interim, Joss has already decided that she’s going to take Jack’s olive branch and enter the world of the WSB — something that isn’t likely to be easy to come back from.
Jason has a track record of eating bullets for family, and Joss is as good as blood to him.
Will Jack now use the truth of Joss’ guilt against Jason to get him to join ranks in the WSB as well? Will he only agree to wiping the slate of charges pending against Jason if he falls in line like Joss did? Can Anna do anything to stop jack from luring both of them into the WSB against their will?
