Chase is sterile, and Brook Lynn is wondering if that means she’ll never have another biological child of her own. Needless to say, this is going to lead to Brook Lynn stewing on decisions she made long ago — like the choice to give up her child for adoption when she was just a teenager.
She never told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zaprogna) that she had his child, and she’s not exactly itching to tell him the truth now.
There aren’t exactly sparks flying between Brook Lynn and Dante, but the friendship they’ve formed could lead to her being his most recent soft place to land.

Should Brook Lynn and Dante end up entertaining themselves with another one-night-stand, we can just about guess that she will finally get that baby she’s been dreaming of.
There’s just one problem — the child won’t be her husband’s, and he’ll definitely know it. While we’re not suggesting Brook Lynn should try to pretend the baby she is pregnant with belongs to someone else, we wouldn’t put it past her to try if Chase didn’t know it was impossible.
Under no circumstance can we see her agreeing to give the child up or terminate her pregnancy, given all the regret she clearly feels about giving her first child up for adoption. What will that mean for her marriage to Chase?

It’s safe to say Dante would never be down with Brook Lynn raising this baby by herself or letting someone else assume the role of the father to his child.
But old wounds could resurface here as tension rises around an accidental pregnancy. This could be the catalyst that leads to Brook Lynn having to tell Dante the truth about their sordid past — that is, if he doesn’t hear it from loudmouth Cody first.
Nevertheless, Dante isn’t just going to walk away from his child the way Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) told Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) he would.
