General Hospital Spoilers: A Love Potion Finally Brings ‘Chalynn’ Together

General Hospital spoilers reveal Chase finally getting the guts to tell Brook Lynn how he feels after all these months of high school hijinks. Too bad more silly hijinks make it happen.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Frustration Of Chalynn

Typically, on a soap, when a couple that has no obstacles between them finally share a kiss, that means we’re getting somewhere in their romance, but that hasn’t been the case for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). The pair shared a kiss back in February and have been wondering if the other one likes them in that way since. Say what?

Yes, they’ve analyzed each other’s text messages, tried to play hard to get, and have had every potential kiss interrupted by a variety of ridiculous things. It turns out Josh Swickard feels fans’ frustrations and is glad this pairing might finally be getting a move on.

“I think Chase is very much ready for it to happen,” Swickard said in the August 30, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “He wants it to happen but can also get in his head about it, wondering, ‘Am I going to ruin it?’ He has so many little things going through his head that he can come across as gun-shy but I think he’s anxious for it to happen.”

Olivia’s Other Trick

At the Quartermaine picnic, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) decides to concoct an old family recipe to use on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to get them to commit, but Chase ends up drinking the potion instead. This is after Chase and Brook Lynn participate in a three-legged race in which their chemistry is apparent.

The family recipe is supposed to be a love potion and now that Chase has ingested it he is ready to finally tell Brook Lynn how he feels. Will this lead to a long-awaited love scene? Swickard does not say but he assures fans they will like what they see. He also said he can understand fans’ frustrations at this point.

“If you are a Chalynn fan, I would highly encourage you not to miss these episodes,” Swickard said.

Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see what happens with Chase and BLQ next.
