General Hospital spoilers indicate that Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig) may be on his way back to Port Charles. Recently at the end of an episode, as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) left to chase the man who set off the incendiary device at Sonny’s penthouse, there was a picture of Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) and Morgan shown on a table.
General Hospital usually has a reason for showing pictures and mentioning characters that are not currently on the canvas, which could indicate that a return is looming for both Michael and Morgan.
However, Morgan’s return would be more shocking as he has been presumed dead for years.
If Morgan Corinthos Is Alive, Where Has He Been?
Morgan was last seen in 2016, presumed dead after a car explosion. A body was ever found, and neither was any trace of him.
Morgan was not in the right state of mind when he stole Julian Jerome’s (last played by William deVry) car, which exploded because Julian’s sister, Olivia Jerome (last played by Tonja Walker) had placed a bomb inside.
But it is certainly possible that he got out of the car before it exploded. If Morgan did in fact survive, did someone, particularly one of Sonny’s enemies, abduct him? Where has Morgan been all of this time? We know Morgan was spiraling out of control due to being off his bi-polar medication, courtesy of Ava Jerome (Maura West).
He could have wandered off and left Port Charles as well, to be taken later by an enemy of Sonny’s.
Morgan Corinthos Was Taken To Be Brainwashed
There are countless enemies of Sonny’s that could have taken Morgan. Jennifer Smith (last played by Holly Gagnier) is a very likely suspect. Morgan could have been taken to be brainwashed against Sonny.
This might take some time, which would explain why it has taken years for Morgan to reappear. Morgan would be said to been brainwashed for years against Sonny, and he has been trained to go after his own father and take him down.
Morgan is further unhinged because he has been off his bipolar medication for years, and he could certainly would see his father as the enemy.
Morgan Corinthos Is Solinski’s Boss
Jason and Sonny have already confronted Solinski (Jeff Wolfe) and he has refused to reveal his client’s identity. Solinski was the hitman who planted the incendiary device at Sonny’s penthouse that injured Michael, but he was definitely working for someone.
This person could be a brainwashed Morgan, who is actively going after his father, and planning on taking over his territory.
Morgan being Solinski’s boss would be a shocking twist, and unexpected and Sonny would be thrilled that Morgan is still alive, but heartbroken that he believes that Sonny is the enemy now, and trying to eliminate him.
