Grim Reaper Appears
We know that the show plans to address onscreen the passings of Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander), as we lost their portrayers last year and we expect plenty of tissues will be needed when the news hits PC.
But based on what we’re seeing onscreen, it’s also possible that current plots result in casualties. For example, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and the gang are working on an ultra-dangerous cold fusion experiment.
Would anyone miss creepy Pascal (Marc Forget) if he accidently dips a finger in a deadly lab dish?
Speaking of the butler, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is planning a secret bash at Wyndemere and that is always code for unexpected soap tragedy.
There are a lot of guests invited, and our source is hearing that the stage could be set for one or more characters being offed which sounds perfectly par for the course on daytime.
Pregnancy News
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is expecting, and it looks like her love rival Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) could have also gotten pregnant by fertile Curtis Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Lab tests show that Curtis is Portia’s baby daddy (again), but there is reason to suspect that the results were fudged and that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is the real dad. We shall see.
Would you believe that Jordan could also name Curtis as her baby daddy when he’s actually not?
We have a sneaking suspicion that Jordan and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) might have had a hookup or three offscreen—what do you think?
Over and above these two pregnancies, our insider is hearing that Britt could also be pregnant with Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) baby!
Is there a Hot Return in the Works?
Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) left the show under tenuous circumstances. She threatened/promised to tell all about her exit after her departure but that never materialized.
Could it be because she wants to stay in the network’s good graces in the case of a possible comeback? Stranger things have happened in daytime.
For now, our source is suggesting that fans listen closely for increased name dropping of Sam McCall. We have heard Sam’s name dropped recently given the circumstances with her daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), and you know what they say … where there’s smoke there’s fire. Just saying.
Shocking Departures?
Next, our source doubles down on the show releasing Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) and Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase).
But they insist that the role of Joss Jacks will be recast. What do you think about this?
Kidnappings On the Rise
Fans know that Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan, is going on hiatus. Accordingly, Jason is putting his affairs in order including updating his will to protect his son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), who is also Sam’s son (what did we say about smoke?).
Will Jason’s absence be explained by him being abducted? He has plenty of enemies, and let’s face it, how many times can he come back from the dead?
Right now the prime suspect in doing harm to Jason is WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). He has threatened him, and Britt, and he has the most to lose if he loses his power over
Britt because of Stone Cold.
Cullum told Britt to stop seeing Jason yet they keep meeting up. We have to believe that Cullum is trailing both of them and that it’s a matter of time before he takes action to protect his cold fusion monstrosity. Will Jason simply disappear into the PC fog?
