Nancy Lee Grahn briefly stopped sharing controversial activism posts on social media to celebrate thirty years on General Hospital as Alexis Davis. She debuted the role on September 26, 1996, and apart from a brief absence, kept on going for all this time.
Three Decades Celebration
Many GH fans like it when Nancy stops trying to change the world and just reveals herself during her everyday life. That’s why they always respond so well to her posts about her vacations, or when she promotes her daughter, Kate’s music. Well, on the weekend, she celebrated her three decades on the ABC show by waltzing her way up an elevator.
In her hands, she carried balloons that said, “30” and she smiled a lot. Then in her caption on Instagram, the real-life Alexis Davis said:
Heading into my 30th year on beloved @generalhospital today and enjoying this amazing ride. 😘 Sending love and thanks to the beautiful #GH audience for taking the ride with me.
ABC Stars Send In Congrats
In the comments section, some of Nancy’s co-stars reacted to her special celebration. One of them was Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) who wrote, “Haaaa Congratulations,” adding a string of party emojis. Next up was Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine). She penned, “Woohoo!! Glad to be with you for more than half! Even if you slept with Ned.”
Actress and comedian, Yvette Nicole Brown also appeared in the comments section, writing, “What a legacy! Happy 30th Anniversary!” Meanwhile, Cameron Mathison, (Drew Cain) added a line of clapping hands emojis. And Kate Mansi, the fictional daughter of Alexis (Kristina Davis) on the show quipped, “Wait mom this outfit is to die for – is it from my closet it’s so me.”
