Laura Wright who acts as Carly Spencer on General Hospital recently swapped the drama of Port Charles for the excitement of watching professional tennis. The actress went to the BNP Paribas Open at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and from her social media, it was clearly a wonderful experience.
Fans See The Real Laura On Social Media
Laura’s Instagram feed is so nice because GH fans find out more about her personality. On March 10, she shared a series of photos, not for the first time this week. “What an AMAZING weekend in the desert at the @indianwellstennisgarden @bnpparibasopen – one more night- then back in Port Charles tomorrow!!!” she wrote.
The photos showed her excitement and she obviously had a ball. One image showed Laura Wright seated courtside, enjoying the action, and that explained her wide smile. The other pictures showed her enjoying the atmosphere with friends. The post by the General Hospital star found lots of comments from enthusiastic tennis fans.
ABC Fans React In The Comments
Many ABC fans seemed pleased that they shared a common interest. “SOOOOOOO FUN!!! Great pics! Love you guys!! Xoxoxo,” one commenter said, echoing the feelings of many fans.

Admittedly, it was a very slow process, and not as exciting as watching top-notch tennis players. Still, she seemed to love that as she snuggled in her cozy home near the fire.
