General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sonny’s Baby Mamas Push Nina to Her Breaking Point!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is sitting in a holding cell waiting on the powers that be to set him up for a future he never thought he’d have to endure.

While Sonny has been blindsided and doesn’t understand how anyone could have set him up to take this fall so well, others aren’t all that surprised.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has watched Sonny get into — and weasel his way out of — trouble over the years, and her mentioning that he’s got a way of dodging persecution gave Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) some modest hope.

That being said, she wasn’t about to co-sign his behavior, and it seemed that every remark she made was co-signed by Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

As Ava Jerome (Maura West) hammers their points home even more, Nina may find herself reaching for an unlikely ally. Is Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) really going to be the best person to calm Nina’s anxiety?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Know-It-Alls

Olivia was kind enough to not add to Alexis’ already strong opinions of Sonny’s business activities as she conveyed the severity of the situation to newbie Nina.

They’ve been through this more than a time or two with him over the years. While they remain hopeful he won’t have to pay for his own bad behavior, Alexis — a former attorney with high respect for the letter of the law — made it clear how unsavory she finds his lifestyle choices.

No one bothered to call her out on her own, but it seemed the message was heard loud and clear by a forgiving Nina who was looking to absorb any insight she could from the women who had already been on this rollercoaster she just climbed aboard.

General Hospital Updates – Ava Jerome Used to Be Supportive

Ava was quick to explain when Nina confronted her disdain for her relationship with Sonny — noting it’s something she used to support. It’s true.

Even when Nina was merely falling for a guy named Mike in Nixon Falls, Ava was here for it. When Mike turned out to be Sonny, she championed her for stabbing Carly in the back.

But Nina’s entanglement with the SEC placed a target in her back that Ava hasn’t been able to ignore. Now, the more she watches Nina panic over what has come to be a regular event in Sonny’s life — him being arrested — the more she thinks Nina may not know what she’s getting herself into.

They may have left their conversation on good terms, but the more they discuss this matter, the more certain Ava will grow that Nina isn’t cut out for this life, and it’s going to get to Nina more than she will care to admit.

Carly Corinthos Holds All the Power

Carly might have been playing coy when she scoffed in Nina’s face and pretended to be blissfully unaware of just how fresh all of this is for Sonny’s latest fiancé.

With Alexis and Olivia resigned to steering clear of Sonny’s legal issues, and Ava preoccupied with her own drama while casting doubt on their relationship at every turn, Nina may end up finding her arch enemy — Carly — is also her best shot at coping with what lies ahead.

If Sonny’s business has any chance of surviving this trial, Nina is going to need to rein it in and keep her wits about her.

Normally, Sonny can bring a spiraling Nina back to stable ground, but will Carly be able to pull it off without pulling her hair out?

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers as Carly and Nina work together to save Sonny.
