General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Someone Takes The Fall For Nikolas’ Death — But Who?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is going to be in serious trouble when the PCPD arrive to save her and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) from the clutches of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Esme Prince). While Ava will certainly be relieved that this isn’t her last day on Earth and she’s not going out with a bang with Ryan, she’s going to be rather unnerved by the series of events that plays out. Before the police make it to the island, Esme is going to panic and run off into the nearby woods. This will prompt Ryan to run after her, which will leave Heather Webber (Alley Mills) holding the gun on Ava and Felicia. One of them might be hurt in the process but rest assured Ava isn’t going anywhere. She has bigger fish to fry on the horizon. When the police find Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) dead body in the stables, she knows her time as a free woman will be up. Things will take quite an interesting turn when someone else stands up and confesses to killing Nikolas, but who?

General Hospital Spoilers — Austin Gatlin Holt Says He Did It

Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) didn’t mean to walk in on Ava as she was moving her husband’s dead body from their home to their stables, but it’s too late to turn back now. Ava recently helped the good doctor out with his pesky cousin, Mason (Nathanyael Grey), and Austin found Ava’s crime to be the perfect way to pay her back — by having her back. That being said, going out on a limb and confessing to a murder he didn’t commit for a woman he’s barely friends with seems unlikely. Austin has a career as a doctor to worry about and there are more important people in his life than Ava to throw it all away on.

General Hosptial Updates – Esme Prince Does What She Has To Just To Get Back to Prison

Esme was pretty much taken against her will to go on this trip across town after busting out of Spring Ridge. She didn’t mind being there. She’s just focused on trying to figure out what will become of her and her baby after he or she is born. She can’t remember her life before this and she can’t honestly say she didn’t commit any of the crimes she’s been charged with. But she doesn’t want to commit more either. Esme could come forward and confess to killing Nikolas just so she can negotiate that she will be kept away from Heather and Ryan — who are likely headed back to a much higher security facility than she.

Ryan Confesses

Ryan is the most likely person to confess to killing Nikolas. He doesn’t really care that he’s locked up all the time. After all, he just spent well over a year pretending to be entirely immobile. What matters to him is mindset. It’s always a mental game of wits with Ryan. He wants Ava to know he’s lording over her and nothing would please him more than to hold it over her head that he knows she killed her beloved husband. When he confesses to the PCPD, she’s going to be stunned and rattled to her core. Is he going to pretend he did it out of love and loyalty so she could stay with her daughter, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola)? Not likely. Ryan wants Ava to worry every day that he might recant his statement. He knows he’s headed back to prison, so he must ensure that Ava is going to keep coming to see him. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
