GH spoilers (GH) spoilers suggest nothing will get resolved between newlyweds Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), anytime soon. The two have been on very shaky ground ever since the shocking truth was revealed about the secret Robinson held for years; that is, the fact that Curtis could be Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Do Fans Want To See Most? Should Curtis Ashford Forgive Portia Robinson?
GH spoilers suggest more turmoil between the two, in the weeks ahead. After all, Portia had plenty of time to come forward to Curtis about Trina’s paternity, with plenty of opportunities along the way. Soap Opera Digest recently conducted a poll on their website, asking General Hospital fans their thoughts. It seems as if an overwhelming 61 percent of participants believe that Curtis should forgive Portia, so they can move on with their relationship. Meanwhile, 39 percent think that he shouldn’t forgive her, and possibly kick Ms. Robinson to the curb.
General Hospital Updates – The Jordan Ashford Factor, A Lie Is A Lie …
It’s undeniable that Portia and Curtis make a cute couple, and the two have incredible chemistry. However, Mr. Ashford ended his marriage to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) a few years back when she didn’t tell him that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) was alive, and not dead like the rest of the world believed. Jordan didn’t necessarily “want” to lie to her hubby at the time but felt the need to protect Taggert.
So, if Curtis dug his heels in that lie, how could what Portia’s done to be any different? One may argue that Ms. Robinson’s fib was far more reaching than Jordan’s. After all, Curtis not knowing Taggert was alive didn’t affect him that much personally. Still, if Trina ends up being Mr. Ashford’s daughter, he will have missed experiences with her as a baby, a little girl growing up, and so much more. How can he forget all the time he’s missed with his daughter, thanks to Portia’s need for peace in her life and to not “rock the boat” over the years?

Curtis has a hard decision to make or does he?? A lie is after all a lie in any way, shape, or form. I do agree that Portia's lie would have more of an effect on Curtis' life than Jordan not apprising him of information on a case she was handling. But on the other hand, Curtis knew Jordan's job could not afford her to share information. Plus having been in law enforcement Curtis should have been able to understand Jordan's position. As both wives lied, (and Curtis can't take lies or secrets), perhaps Curtis should make the same decision and divorce Portia as it wouldn't be fair to forgive one and not the other - again a lie is a lie regardless of his current feelings about either. Curtis needs to move on as far as his love life with the two wives are concerned. Know many will disagree but as with all GH complicated convoluted story lines, I do not take sides regardless of which characters are involved and my like or dislike of the particular characters involved.
