General Hospital spoilers spill that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was feeling less than enthusiastic about revealing the details of her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on their double date last week. At some point, she’ll have to admit to herself that she and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) are, in fact, lovers. He seems to be over the moon about that while she’s less than excited about what happened between them at Wyndemere. Ava does a great job at putting up walls every time a relationship crashes and burns, and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) broke the record for that.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Longs To Come Clean
Although she’s resistant to cozying up to Austin again, she’s even more hesitant to just tell Sonny the truth about what’s been going on for the last six months. She killed a man and now an arguably worse man is holding it over her head in an attempt to collect information on the mob boss. We know Sonny would take care of Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) in an instant, and so does Ava. Rumor has it, she’ll realize that soon. Ava wants to prioritize her child over herself and tell Sonny the truth. She knows if anyone can help her out of this situation, it’s him. And what wouldn’t he do for the mother of his child — any one of them? Unfortunately, she’s going to stop short of telling him anything about Austin’s family — because she doesn’t want any harm coming to her new loverboy.
General Hospital Updates – Sonny Corinthos Smells A Rat
Sonny will continue to remain suspicious of Ava’s situation and the company she keeps. He has pretty good instincts, but he can only do so much to protect Ava from herself if she keeps associating with the allegedly good doc. As Ava continues to insist Austin is on the up-and-up, Sonny isn’t going to buy it and may send Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to dig into his background. Will he find something far worse than the death of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)? Ava better hope he doesn’t unearth the secret lurking in Sonny’s penthouse — the new nanny — in the process.
Will Ava Jerome Listen To Reason?
Sonny and Nina both might attempt to talk to Ava about Austin’s shifty behavior, but the more that she feels like she can’t be honest with them, the more it’ll feel like Austin is the only person who truly knows her — because he knows all of her secrets. That’s just like her, isn’t it? As tensions rise with the new nanny on board, Sonny may start to question where Ava found her; his questions could start to poke holes in the story she told him. We all know how Sonny feels about betrayal. Will he catch on before Mason gets his hands on the Pikeman deets he’s seeking? Will Ava wisen up before it’s too late to save herself?
